Journals

You must journal your time as you make your projects.

You cannot retroactively write these.(well you can but it will be really hard to do)

What do I need to include for the journal?

For your journal to count, you need a few things:

  1. Images that show your progress. These can be of schematics or datasheets you looked at, parts you designed, or certain diagrams you referenced.
  2. Text description stating what you did and how you did it.
  3. Goals/todo lists for your next entry or what is remaining
  4. Total amount of time spent each entry working
ATTENTION

DO NOT USE AI TO WRITE YOUR JOURNALS. WE DO NOT WANT TO READ ANYTHING ABOUT "THE OPTIMAL STYLE"

INSTEAD

Talk about how it works, how you like the goofiness of it, or how you like it.

How do I structure my journal?

Your journal should be called JOURNAL.md and every entry should include the date as a title. You can then make your journal entry for the day. Include images that document what you did and text explaining you thought process, what you did, a fun joke, anything!

This file is a way for you to keep track of what you have done and what you need to do. It also acts like documentation of how your project was built so other people can learn how you built it.(you might not think you are good enough for other people to learn off you but even the most basic beginner can come up with methods and ideas that the most seasoned veterans have never considered)

Here is an example of a journal.
